  • toss illusions

  • Our biggest twirling move was when we had 2 girls bend down and the one girl threw the baton and another girl flipped over the 2 girls backs.

Their try out requirements are to learn a dance and twirling routine and then learn a marching routine in front of the judges.

All the girls on the squad are or were part of the Centurions Baton and Drum Corp. The squad won the USA Jr. Parade Corp Championship competiton, and last year they won the Sr. Live Parade Corp and Grand World Parade Corp cometition. These competitions were held at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana. The Corp has gone there for 14 years and this year over 5,000 people participated around the country and the world. As just the majorettes of a small high school they have competed in local competitions such as the Sharon High School Band Front Competition, where they got 2nd place, and only losing by a small amount. The squad also performs in local parades for the school and for the corp. They've also won many other titles for the Centurions such as Grand World Flag corp and Percussion Corp champions.

Greenville majorettes use a wide variety of twirling equipment including, 1-2-3 baton, hoop baton, single flag baton, double flag baton, and a fire baton.
