Photo info
[edit]Hi Mike. One of my perennial Wikimedia gnome projects is diffusing Category:Oxford into more specific subcategories. I have a reasonable knowledge of Oxford, but it's quite difficult to identify some of your photos when there are no categories, no description and the filename is something like "At Oxford 2009 07.jpg". Any chance you could provide a bit more information with your uploads? Cheers. [Update: if your camera has GPS facilities, a lat/long would also be a great help.] Dave.Dunford (talk) 12:42, 29 September 2026 (UTC)
- Hi, sorry, these are some older photos that I was trying to get up quickly for WLM. I didn't have a GPS receiver on my camera back then, but I do have that now for newer photos. I am keeping track of them and plan to do another pass through them soon to add more info. Thanks. Mike Peel (talk) 13:55, 29 September 2026 (UTC)
Wikidata Infobox issues
[edit]Once again, the process of making a Wikidata Infobox is forcing me to make a duplicate for a commons category where the data already exists. In this case it's the Category:Nobleton Wayside Park. ----DanTD (talk) 13:28, 1 October 2026 (UTC)
