Best Twirling Memory:
All of the practices for indoor competition in the past 3 years. They have been SO much fun and hard work; I have a lot of great memories from each one.

Most Embarrassing Moment:
Senior night during football season, the majorettes were in a rush to get our warm-up suits off. WE were at the bottom of the bleachers where almost everyone could see us. I ripped off my jacket and pants, grabbed a baton and started walking to line up. I was thinking my legs are chillier then normal when I realized I didn't have my skirt on. I accidently took our slip on skirt off while taking off my pants. But that isn't the only time I've had an embarrassing moment with a skirt. Last year at an away game, the band performed our halftime show then marched off the field to the front of the field and turned around so we could watch the other band. I was right in front of Evan, a freshmen bass drum player, with my back turned toward the crowd. The director signaled for the drummers to put down their drums, nothing unusual. His bass drum rolled toward me and hit the back of my legs, so Evan picked it up and in doing so, the drum caught my skirt and I flashed the who! le audience. I turned around and so saw many people laughing, I wanted to crawl into a hole. Needless to say Evan never lived that one down.

Favorite Twirling Activity:
Indoor competitions. The rush from competing is so great and the final result really shows what you've been practicing all that time for. Plus I have a really good time when we all get together and fool around, but when it's time to go on that floor we all pull together and show the audience why twirling is a sport.

Future Plans:
I'd like to twirl in college but I'm not sure if i'll get to or not. I'd also like to have my own group someday or even yeach at a high school.
