Name: Christina
School: Northwest High School
School Year: 11
Location: Ohio
Years Twirling: 2

Equipment Used:
1,2,3 batons, 1 and 2 fire, flags, 1 and 2 streamers, 1 and 2 glow batons, Hoop batons, 1 double flag baton, candy cane(comical I know!)

Best Twirling Memory:
Making my highschool squad after learning to twirl 2 months before, winning multiple twirling, modeling and marching awards.

Most Embarrassing Moment:
There's many! Our band goes to Florida every 4 years! We went my Sopmore year. Our 'head' majorett who only scored 2 points higher than me broke her wrist right when we started marching in at Epcot. So I took over lead. Afterwards I had a heat stroke and had to be carted around Epcot and Disney in a wheelchair. Then my first year when we were exchanging and I did a split because my partners toss was so horrible! Then we get chords at home games for pre game saying proudly lead on the feild by majorettes da da da da da. Well, since I was head, I'm first! I dropped my two spin in front of the whole school and town...then then Athena drops her bow toss, which like my 2 spin is always perfect and in the bag...then the Natalie drops a single arm circle...yea a SINGLE right arm circle...sad...and then the least expierienced and last...Jennie...nearly biffs a 1 spin but is the only one of the four of us to catch it...we all got booed and she got a standing ovation.

Favorite Twirling Activity:
My favortie twirling activity is competitions. I love competing and bringing home the bacon as our line calls it. I've won so many awards and it's an amazing feeling of pride and accomplishment! Also, being able to lead our line into everything. I feel honored and I love showing my school spirit!

Future Plans:
I plan on attending a university in Florida and Majoring in Dentistry and minoring in nursing. I also plan on twirling my heart out and competing in more pageants and twirling competitions!
